WeatherNation TV seeks a full-time Photojournalist. A strong interest/background in meteorology is preferred. A passion and aptitude for visual storytelling is a must.

Position requires a flexible schedule which may include weekends or early morning shifts. Must have the ability to work assisted and unassisted as necessary in a deadline driven environment.

Responsibilities Include:

· Shooting creative, high-quality video on multiple devices
· Setting up and execute live shots on location
· Conducting on-camera interviews
· Collaborating with talent and producers on story ideas and segment production
· Going through rundowns and putting together assets for the show
· Working with talent and producers to deliver on-air content
· Organizing and distributing assets through network drives
· Keeping up with good file management protocols
· Meet strict deadlines
· Able to efficiently edit content
· Understand different types of video codecs
· Ability to travel when sent on assignment

Qualifications:

· Adobe Premiere (1 year)
· Adobe After Effects
· Photoshop
· Excellent attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $21.00/per hour
