The tornado threat remains low as the storms are expected to turn into a large bowing Mesoscale Convective System (MCS) likely with an embedded Mesoscale Convective Vortex (MCV) which will move Southeastward through the moderate risk area. Damaging winds and hail will be the main threat with this large storm as it pushes its way towards Illinois overnight.
